The board of Directors
The management and control of the business and affairs of the MCOS is vested in the Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of 5 members. They are elected for a 2 year Mandate renewable.
MCOS’s Board of Directors comprises the most influential leaders of the Senegalese resources sector.
The Executive Council is MCOS’s policy making body and plays an important role in decision making on key strategic policy issues being addressed by CME. At the highest level, the role of Executive Council is to:
– Establish the strategic direction of the CMDS
– Analyze performance in the industry and adjust the long-term strategy of the Chamber
– Represent the members of the MCOS in front of government authorities and convey the concerns of its members
